Shipping Our Pies

Shipping:
Our “Fruit Pies” and “Other Favorites” pies are shippable anywhere in the United States by USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail. Cream pies with meringue topping cannot be shipped. My Sugar Pie can ship one or two pies in one shipment box. Prices for delivery include packaging, handling, and shipping charges based on zip code of destination. Pies cannot be shipped to PO boxes. The average price for one shipped pie is around $60.

My Sugar Pie accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover cards for your convenience.

The Packaging Process:
The following is an explanation of the pie shipment process. The steps below are illustrated in the slideshow to the right.

Before your pie is shipped, it is baked and frozen in a glass pie plate. After proper freezing, the pie is packed into our custom-made, recyclable, corrugated box and tied with a ribbon. If you would like to add a note to the recipient of the pie, just let us know. We provide a card attached to your pie box free of charge.

Next the larger shipping box is loaded with thick insulation and paper. Your pie is placed inside the shipping box with bubble wrap, additional paper, and ice packs. It is covered with more insulation and sealed. The packing list and My Sugar Pie instruction sheet for reheating and storage of your pie are included in the box. Finally it is shipped to the destination of choice. You or the recipient of the pie will receive a notice that the pie has been shipped and a delivery confirmation.
